This month has seen the opening of a state of the art new hair salon in Darlington town centre.
Contemporary Salon has renovated a vacated unit in the town centre and has created 6 new jobs and aims to grow in number in the first two years.
The salon interior reflects the salons name with cool grey tiles, glass beaded wallpaper, high chrome mirrors and spectacular chandelier.
On arrival you will be greeted warmly, offered a complimentary head massage, colour consultation and choice from an extensive drinks menu.
At the he backwash area clients get to relax on black leather massage chairs and washbasins that raise and lower electronically for the most comfortable position.
Amanda Day said ‘We are about the experience and want to be able to bring a bit of spa luxury to our clients. We want our clients to be relaxed and to enjoy the process of having their hair cut and to look forward to a bit of affordable luxury'
‘From previous market research it became clear that prices can vary in salons and we wanted to be clear on this and have created a Menu for clients to choose the colour range and experience of stylist to be able to suit their budget.'
